Historica - Encounters with Canada is Canada’s largest youth forum. Our objective is to bring young Canadians from different backgrounds and regions together in order to give them an opportunity to learn about one another, to discover their country through each other, and gain a better understanding of Canadian institutions. This one-week program is divided into two parts: the first focuses on Canadian institutions and includes visits to the House of Commons and the Senate, as well as a tour of the National Capital Region. The second part of the week is organized around one of twelve themes:

- Ecology and Environment
- Canada Remembers
- International Affairs
- Journalism & Communications
- Law
- Medicine & Health
- Politics in Canada

Youth Canada is always looking for more programs, competitions, and conferences to complete our database. We're looking for any sort of enrichment opportunity that is open to Canadian high schools ranging from Science Camps to French Essay Competitions.
