This math Contest is 60 minutes in length and 25 multiple choice questions marked out of a total of 150. All calculators are allowed in this contest.
RECOGNITION
A Certificate of Distinction is provided by the Canadian Mathematics Competition for students scoring in the top 25% of the contestants in each school; a Certificate of Participation is provided for all contestants. A certificate is awarded to the highest achieving student on each of the Grade 7 and 8 Contests. The names of some of the top scoring competitors among all those writing the Gauss Contest will be listed in the Gauss Report on the CEMC Web site.
