If you are between the ages of 14 and 18 and you want to challenge yourself, discover your leadership abilities and meet great people, the Atlantic Co-operative Youth Leadership is for YOU!!! Our objective is clear; foster the development of leadership skills and co-operative attitudes in young adults and encourage their active involvement in community.
We have created a strong base of fun and interactive learning sessions that will cover the topics: Exploring Leadership, Show Me the Money, Volunteerism, Understanding Co-operatives, Effective Communication, Public Speaking, Group Dynamics and Team Building.
Join us in Mira, Cape Breton on September 17 - 20, 2009!
Youth Canada is always looking for more programs, competitions, and conferences to complete our database. We're looking for any sort of enrichment opportunity that is open to Canadian high schools ranging from Science Camps to French Essay Competitions. We're more than willing to provide free publicity for these initiatives, so help out your favourite opportunity and tell us about it!
